Chic in the City: Leeds

Victoria QuarterLeeds is brimming with style and is often described as the Knightsbridge of the North but you have to be in the know....

Here are my favourites:

Lunch:  Anthony’s at Flannels

Anthony Flynn is a young, innovative chef who since opening his flagship restaurant in 2004 has expanded throughout Leeds. The Loft style room at Flannels is spacious, bright and airy making lunch an extremely enjoyable affair. www.anthonysrestaurant.co.uk

Dinner: Sous Le Nez

Souz Le Nez always delivers on taste, service and atmosphere. It also offers the best early bird in Leeds, 3 courses and half bottle of wine for £22.95.  www.souslenez.com

Champagne: Epernay

Epernay, commonly known as the champagne bar is a popular spot with a lively atmosphere and a supply of yummy champagne!  www.epernaychampagnebars.com

PrimoItalian: Primo

An authentic Italian in the city centre serving good food and complemented by warm service. Recommended.  www.primo-ristorante.co.uk

Cappuchino: Casa Mia Coffee Shop

Casa Mia Coffee Shop (the original Casa Mia)  is an institution in Leeds. Much bigger these days you will always find a welcoming atmosphere.  www.casamiaonline.com/casa-mia-coffee-shop

Cafe: Pera

A recent addition to the Street Lane cafe scene, Pera is the perfect stop anytime of the day.

Gift: Cadeaux

In the stunning Victoria Quarter I deny anyone not to smile in delight at the contents of this gift shop.  www.cadeaux-leeds.com

Jewellery: Argent

A long time favourite of mine, Argent excels in contemporary jewellery. www.simplyargent.co.uk

Florist: Daisy Chain

In my opinion, the only place to buy flowers in Leeds. Can be found on Street Lane or in the Victoria Quarter.  www.daisychain-leeds.com

Hair: West Row

West Row now have salons across Yorkshire and offer an excellent service. www.westrow-hair.com

Shop:

You can't go wrong in the stunning Victoria Quarter.

I can’t finish without mentioning Harvey Nichols and the fabulous Fourth Floor cafe. www.harveynichols.com
